Hanna and I have never been the type to throw a big wedding. Being the center of attention stresses us out and the thought of making the day about anything other than her and I turned us off even more. A six minute ceremony to mark the start of our forever was both perfect and perfectly us. Having met fifteen years earlier, these moments were surreal for more reasons than we could count.
Special thanks to the wonderful Joee Wong and Jessica Hoang for capturing all our favorite memories.
Needless to say, Joee and Jessica understood my aesthetic and captured it in a remarkably epic style.

From near and far, we were thankful to have our immediate family by our side.
Amongst the crazy of hosting family, taking photos, and coordinating other logistics, I wanted Hanna and I to have a few moments of alone time before our reception dinner. Popping a little bubbly at The Riddler, a quaint and quirky champagne bar in Hayes Valley, was one of our regular date night rituals, making it the perfect mini getaway. It also served as a great reminder that the day was ours.
Not shown: a quick trip across the street to Domo, our favorite sushi and date night spot, where we each shamelessly scarfed down some uni nigiri.
For dinner, we chose the charming Octavia to host our family and cap off our momentous day. Their private dining table in their back kitchen gave us the perfect ambiance for more celebrations, and of course, great food and company.
